service performs the best when all other solutions are at their worst,
when
weather or accident cuts power to your facility your voice
mail continues to work even if you don’t have phone or electricity
to your facility! Your customers are never left hanging, there is
always a way to leave
you and your company critical information. You can even update
the greeting message on the fly to reflect extraordinary events like
loss of power,
directing your customers to leave a message and when they can
expect a response from you. There is even a message center function
that allows
you to assign a mailbox to each employee.
To Access VoiceMail from Your Main Business Telephone Number:
1. When you sign up for VoiceMail you will be given a telephone
number to access the VoiceMail Service
Dial your access number
Choose your city or town from the pull-down menu
2. Call the telephone number provided to you at sign up
2. Call the telephone number provided to you at sign up
3. You will be prompted to enter your password.
a. The very
first time you access Voice Mail, we will have already set
a temporary password. It will be 0000# (four zeros
followed by the pound sign). It is best to set up your new
password at this point.
b. If you have not chosen your password and would like to;
i.
Choose the menu item “set up or change your password”
ii. Enter your own password. It needs to be a four digit number.
iii. Press the pound (#) sign
iv. You have now changed your password, the next time you
access the voice mail system you will need to use the four digit
number you just chose.
4. The VoiceMail Menu will prompt
you through selecting
messages. When listening to messages use the following
playback controls
i.
Rewind message 8 second (each time you press) Press
1
ii. Fast Forward message 8 seconds (each time you press)
Press 3
iii. Pause the message playing Press 7
iv. Return to the start of the message Press 1-1
v. Fast forward to the end of the message Press
3-3
vi. Exit the Voice Mail System Press 9-9
To Access Voice Mail from the Road/Away:
1. When you sign up for Voice Mail you will be given a telephone
number to access the VoiceMail Service
2. Call the telephone number provided to you at sign up
3. You will be prompted to enter your mailbox number, it is
your seven digit home telephone number (for example 555-5555).
4. You will be prompted to enter your password.
a. The very
first time you access Voice Mail, we will have already set
a temporary password. It will be 0000# (four zeros followed
by the pound sign). It is best to set up your new password
at this point.
b. If you have not chosen your password and would like to;
i.
