We’ve all been there, your phone is ringing and
you are just around the corner. No need to risk life and limb or break
speed records to get to the phone before they hang up, let Call Return
retrieve any call you didn't catch in time.
You don't need to know who called. Just dial *69 and your phone will
redial the last number that called you. If the line is busy, your phone
will keep trying for up to 30 minutes, and ring you when it's free.
HOW TO USE:
When you miss a call;
1. pick up the handset
2. listen for a dial tone
3. Press *69. Your phone will redial the last number that called
you, including any call that came in on Call Waiting.
a. If
the line is busy, your phone will keep trying for up
to thirty minutes and ring you when its free. A special callback
ring will alert you when the line is free (some phones
ring normally).
b. When you pick up the phone, the call will automatically
be placed.
To cancel:
1. Depress the "switchhook" and release.
2. Listen for a special dial tone.
a. If you've already
hung up lift the handset and listen for a normal dial tone.
b. Press *89.
c. Listen for the confirmation tone or announcement
3. Hang
up.
Note: This service doesn't work on 800 numbers, 900 numbers,
numbers outside the specified service area, or on lines
where Call Forward and some other call services have been activated.
